LookPrep vs ChatGPT and Gemini

ChatGPT and Gemini are general image editors, so this page groups them by the same broad use case: upload a selfie and describe a cosmetic change. Their features, limits and privacy settings still differ. OpenAI documents edits to uploaded images, and Google promotes selfie transformations. A requested lip edit is a creative illustration, not evidence of how a procedure would turn out.

Their advantage is breadth: a prompt can request changes to hair, brows, makeup, an outfit or the scene, then refine the result in conversation. ChatGPT now also offers image templates and a selection tool. Google advertises Nano Banana Pro with up to 14 reference images, resemblance preservation for up to five people, and controls for camera angle, focus and lighting. Access differs by surface and plan.

Free access makes both worth considering. Google lists image generation and editing on its $0/month plan, while ChatGPT lists limited free image creation. Google AI Pro is $19.99/month; OpenAI's US App Store lists ChatGPT Plus at $19.99. LookPrep also starts with a free Natural preview on your photo; its paid packs offer 8 previews for $19 or 20 for $29.

LookPrep is not trying to be an image editor. It does one job: return a small set of named lip looks at stated amounts, built to be opened in front of an injector. Eight selectable looks have their own pages; four are graded contested and doll lips is a marketing label. Lips and lip flip only: no makeup, no hair, no live camera, no video.

LookPrep makes the amount an explicit selection instead of relying on an open-ended prompt. Nine treatments hold selectable values: 0.55 to 2.0 mL on Juvederm Volbella XC, 0.5 to 3.0 mL on Juvederm Ultra XC, and 0.3 to 2.8 mL on RHA Redensity. Lip flip uses a separate scale of 4 or 6 units. These are planning inputs, not dose recommendations or guarantees about the rendered result.

LookPrep keeps the selected options together in a saved comparison based on one uploaded photo. General image editors can also reuse a reference image and revise it, but the reviewed guides do not document a clinically controlled filler-dose comparison. OpenAI notes occasional visual-consistency limits across generations. That supports caution about comparing outputs, not a claim that every regeneration changes the person's face.

Clinical interpretation still needs a qualified professional. The cited OpenAI Model Spec advises against definitive medical advice best left to a licensed professional; Google prohibits deceptive claims of expertise in health. Those policies do not establish whether a particular lip edit will be accepted. LookPrep also does not assess candidacy or recommend a dose.

A general image editor can create a fuller-lip illustration from a written request, often through free access. You can include a look name or amount in the prompt, but the reviewed vendor pages do not establish that the image is calibrated to a real injection amount. LookPrep makes the selected amount visible in its workflow; deciding an appropriate treatment remains a clinician's job.

Google says chats and uploaded photos can be used to improve its services, including model training, when Keep Activity is on. Human-reviewed chats may be retained for up to three years. Activity auto-deletes after 18 months by default, with other settings available. Turning Keep Activity off or using temporary chats limits training use, but does not mean immediate deletion; feedback has separate rules.

OpenAI lets consumers turn off model training for new conversations. Temporary chats are not used to improve models while temporary, but may be retained for up to 30 days for safety. Saving one makes ordinary chat settings apply. LookPrep states that uploaded faces are not used to train LookPrep models, and provides deletion requests through /delete-data.

OpenAI's help pages were readable during this review; listed ChatGPT prices below still come from its US App Store listing. We did not buy subscriptions, test generation quality or inspect private account settings. Missing specialist controls mean they were not documented in the reviewed sources, not that prompting can never produce similar-looking output. Usage limits can change.
